Hi, I’m Scott.

By day I lead a Portfolio Delivery and Change function in the Civil Service, basically making sure strategy doesn’t just stay a nice slide deck. I care about delivering complex transformation in a legislated, digital world, but I’m just as interested in how we deliver it: the operating models, the ways of working, and especially the behaviours that decide whether change actually lands.

Away from work I’m a fairly eclectic mix: Formula 1, golf, painting Warhammer (slowly), and a regular at Parkrun. I dabble in photography too. I’m also a bit of a nerd for digital things, currently tinkering with code (see this website) and figuring out how to use AI safely and ethically. At the same time, I’m leaning more into the non-digital side of life, and I don’t take it for granted the way I used to.

This site is where I think out loud about leadership, transformation, and whatever I’m building (or learning) on the side.
