Inspired by the long-running website uses this and the more techy /uses, I thought it could be cool to do a blog post summarising my setup. So here it is. I haven’t had any endorsements or freebies, it is all what I’ve actually bought and use in my daily work.
Hardware #
- 2020 M1 MacBook Pro - still holding up quite nicely.
- iPhone 15 Pro Max - Battery is starting to flag and I really wish Apple would make a Max that isn’t Pro and might just not hurt the wallet quite so much.
- Microsoft Surface - work machine
Analogue #
- Leuchtturm1917 Standard Notebook A5 - I have tried so many and this is where I landed. Great paper and the perfect size.
- Lamy Safari fountain pen (F) - Great everyday fountain pen that doesn’t leak or feel awkward to work with.
- Drehgriffel Nr. 1 with gel ink - Secondary pen with a fine gel ink that is a little sharper than a fountain pen.
Photography #
- Fujifilm X100 VI - a truly wonderful, portable camera that produces art straight out of the camera
Golf #
- Second-hand Nike driver
- Second-hand Wilson OD irons and wedges
- PING G440 Hybrid 5 - I still can’t get consistent with my woods, so this is a lifesaver.
- Powakaddy CT powered cart - Between a very hilly club and my advancing years, this is a must.
- Powakaddy Edge bag
- Arccos golf app - Hopefully will help me improve my game but at the moment is just a digital account of how bad I am.
